Sister Brenda Lebitsa holds an Honor’s degree in Advanced Nursing from the University of the Free
State. and is a registered Midwife, Clinical Primary Healthcare Specialist, and Occupational Healthcare Nurse Practitioner.
She has work experience of over 20 years in both public and private health care institutions.
Upon completing her initial educational training in 1996, she was employed by Rosepark Private
Hospital and later joined Netcare Private Hospital as a theater scrub sister. Thereafter she
joined Medicross as a charge sister for a Community Healthcare Centre which was based in
Heidedal Mangaung. The Entrepreneur has vast nursing experience amongst others, that includes
Clinical and Medical Data Research; acquired from her employment at Quintiles and Parexel,
where she executed her duties as a Clinical Data Specialist and Clinical Data Manager respectively.
Other career highlights worth mentioning includes her duties as a consultant for the South African
Local Government Association (SALGA) in the portfolio of HIV & AIDS coordinator and later became
Community Development Program Manager at SALGA.
Through her dedication, hardwork and enquiring mind, she was appointed as an Acting Provincial
Executive Officer until her departure in April 2013 , during her tenure in SALGA, she practised partime
as a, Private Nurse Practitioner since 2010 in pursueing her dream of becoming an Entrepreneur in
her field of study and passion.
